Attention
Outdoor Enthusiasts, Outdoor Workers and Wilderness
Adventure Travellers:
Discover
what a seasoned expert with 30+ years of outdoor and wilderness experience will tell you about surviving the wilderness ...
So That
You Don't Need To
Do First Aid and Use Survival Techniques
on Your Next Wilderness Adventure

Dear outdoor enthusiast, outdoor worker and wilderness
adventure traveller:
It is a great day when
you play or work in the outdoors and travel through
wilderness and remote areas. And it is an even better day when you don't have to do first aid and use survival skills.
When you adopt a prevention mindset and follow a preparation approach you now have a blueprint to follow to avoid illness and injury.
However, if you become ill or injured the same blueprint will guide your decisions.
Knowing
how to prevent illness and injury, and to prepare for a safer wilderness adventure are just as useful when you deal with an emergency situation, administer first
aid, use basic survival skills and determine whether
you evacuate to help or ask for help to come to you.
If
you’re like 1000s of people I've touched over the years you're
probably experiencing hesitation in how
to deal with outdoor first aid and safety issues, first
aid emergencies, how to survive in the wilderness,
and how to pack a helpful outdoor first aid kit.
If
you would like to know how to prepare
for first aid emergencies, identify first aid
kit content, learn about basic wilderness survival
techniques, write your own wilderness survival guide and first aid guide and most importantly, follow an “anticipate
and care” mindset before, during and after
an outdoor trip so as to prevent doing first aid
and using survival skills in the first place,
then the eBook offered below will be the most important purchase
you'll ever read.
*WARNING*

My name is Steve Hobbs and for the last 30+ years
I have been involved in playing and working in
wilderness, remote and outdoor settings.
During that time I
have worked in forestry camps fighting forest
fires and led ten-day whitewater canoe trips for
youth on northern lakes and rivers of Ontario,
Canada.
I’ve been a whitewater
rafting guide trip leader for 21 summers, sharing
the majesty of the Canadian Rocky Mountains with
people from all over the world.
I was a Wilderness
Remote First Aid Instructor Trainer for the Canadian
Red Cross (CRS) for 20+ years. I was the one who
instructed instructor trainers to instruct instructors
to instruct people like you. During this time,
I edited the CRS wilderness remote first aid book
used by instructors and participants.
In support of my rafting
and first aid instruction I put to use the adult
learning techniques I gathered through my continued
university studies including obtaining my doctorate
in adult education. And I have been a workplace
trainer, teacher, coach and consultant involved
in learning and development, leadership and management,
and knowledge-skill validation.
More importantly, of
the 1000s of people I took into the outdoors I
brought everyone back safe and sound. Yes, there
were some bumps and bruises, small cuts –
but it means they were enjoying themselves.
And because of my experiences
and the questions asked by my participants, I
decided to create this website to share my practical
ideas and those of my many friends whose expertise
I have relied on over the years ... so you can develop your own bush survival guide that includes a first aid guide.
This website was developed
to help you to NOT have to do first aid and use
survival skills while enjoying the activity you
are involved in no matter the season, no matter
the place.
However, if you were
to do first aid and use your survival skills then
this site can help you as well.
If
you would like to discover the simple
ideas to guide you in a safer outdoor trip
You will need to…
- Prepare yourself mentally before stepping
into the outdoors
-> so you have the confidence to know you
can travel with the correct mindset to deal
with emergency situations
- Adopt a prevention-risk management approach
to activity involvement
-> so you understand the anticipated risk
involved and be able to maximize your enjoyment
while minimizing illness/injury factors
- Carry with you the proper equipment including
a first aid kit, survival gear, bush survival guide and first aid guide for the type
of activity by setting
-> so you have the correct equipment to use
and resources to scan for likely situations should they arise
- Gain know-how in figuring out what first
aid treatment to use
-> so you can preserve life and prevent further
harm
- Lead others in helping you to help the ill
and injured
-> so you can organize others to help you
help the ill/injured
You
are literally 2 minutes away
from changing your life...

Everything
You Need To Know About Not Having
To Do First Aid and Use Survival Techniques
In Surviving the Wilderness
At
core of other books on first aid and bush survival
techniques, is the belief you will need
to do first aid and use your survival skills
… while that is a possibility, this
eBook suggests there are many things you
can know and do to NOT have to do first
and use survival skills - but if you have
to, then this eBook will give you amazing
ideas about how to use what you have with

using survival skills!
Moreover,
All
other books present short sections on
preparation; in this eBook, preparation

in the outdoors!
Preparation is Queen!
Other
books merely skim the topic of prevention;
this eBook acknowledges the critical need
to adopt an
‘anticipate and care’ prevention
approach.
Prevention is King!
To
know how to organize first aid and survival
situations with the help of others gets
a cursory mention in
other books; this eBook brings this essential
topic to life.
And other books will seldom encourage you to write your own bush survival guide including a first aid guide or to develop resources you can carry with you to remember the steps
and treatments to assist the ill and injured ... our eBook does that, encourages you to write your own guide.
